Born as William Bailey on February 6, 1962, in Lafayette, Indiana, USA.
Axl started playing the piano and singing in the church choir at age 5years.In the 17 WAS renamed the William Rose, Because I found the name of That Was His real father. Had a tough Axl childhood, His biological father abusedhim and His adoptive father, Who drank excessively, used Them for Their Interests.
In a few years where the music was dominated by dance music and pop,appeared in the charts a group that practiced a dirty rock and groundbreaking. There was a group of good guys, a group was dirty, violent andcontroversial. But they were also able to show their lighter side, tender and sensitive, as in the song "Sweet Child O 'Mine." The group included two guitarists,Slash and Izzy Stradlin who starred fierce duel guitar, typical of Aerosmith or the Stones, the singer Axl Rose, who shouted their stories of sex, drugsand apathy, bassist Duff McKagan and drummer Steven Adler.
Guns N 'Roses released their first EP in 1986, leading them to get a contract with Geffen andthe following year the band released their debut album "Appetite for Destruction." Start a tour with numerous live shows, however, the album did not startselling well until about a year later, when MTV starts to put the video for "Sweet Child O'Mine." Soon the album jumps to number one, and Guns N 'Rosesbecome one of the world's most famous bands. In late 1988 launch, "GN'R Lies" that contains, along with 4 new acoustic songs, songs of their first EP.
