We choose this theme 'The Lacandon Jungle' and we're going to talk about this.

Jessica: -The Selva Lacandona is located to the East of the State of Chiapas, stretching to the northwestern end of the State.

-Located between 16 ° 17' North latitude and the 90 ° 30' longitude West of Chiapas, limited to the South and East byGuatemala, to the West by the Valley of the River Jataté and North with the parallel 17 in the lagoons of Naha and Metzabok.

Zaira:
- It contains one of the most significant portions of tropical rain forest of North America.

- Climate is dominated by humid warm climate with an average annual temperature between 18and 22 degrees Celsius.

- In the Lacandon Jungle, average rainfall are the 2,000 to 2,500 mm and 2,500 to 3,000 mm. There are small patches that exceed the 3,000 mm per year, being the most rainy summer and part of the autumn.Flora y Fauna.

- In this ecosystem, they inhabit the branches of trees; spider monkeys and howler, squirrel,opossum and bats.

- Toucans, macaws, parrots and los pericos make their nests in the holes of trunks, while millions of beetles, ants and butterflies swarm among bromeliads, orchids and climbing plants, frogs are found on mosses covering the branches.

Miriam:
- It is estimated that in the Lacandon Jungle youcan find, at least 30 species of trees, 50 Orchid, 40 birds, 20 mammals, butterflies and approximately 5 000 300 more than other invertebrates. Among its most characteristic plants have cedar, mahogany, ceiba, mamey and sapodilla, and among their animals, jaguar, tapir, the Scarlet Macaw, spider monkey and howler monkeys.

- In Chiapas, there is agreat diversity of ethnic groups and indigenous groups; After Oaxaca, this state ranks second in ethnic diversity in Mexico. Although the regional division of the State do not necessarily correspond to the cultural areas, cultural diversity makes this State one of the richest culturally in terms of languages, festivals, traditions, crafts and customs.

- Choles:Groups located in the North of Chiapas, mainly in the municipalities of Palenque, Tumbala, Tila, Sabanilla and water jump. The life of the chols, as of many Indian people, is governed by an agricola-religioso calendar, where festivities and rites have a preponderant role. The religious organization is governed by stewardships, enforcement hold and drive the parties responsible, as well as takecare of the temple and the sacred images
