8 Worst Practices for Conducting Job Interviews

This essay talks about the worst thing that you can do to someone that you are going to interview.
And they are thefollowing:
1. Not reading the resume/cover letter of the job applicants
This attitude is both an insult and a lack of commitment to your job and to the futureemployee.
It shows that you are not taking your job seriously or that you are not ready for that position.
2. Forgets about the interview and loses my resume
This isalmost the same as the last one bus worst
3. Asking illegal questions
I think that this point is not the same in Mexico and also it is important to know well who you arehiring and how he or she behaves at home and the age is also important because a person that is 50 years old is not as productive a someone that is 20.
4. Picks afight
I always think that picking a fight is a stupid thing to do, but doing it in an interview is one of the stupidest things that you can do, just because you are notgoing to hire that guy or he is not getting a job.
5. Gets pushy and insulting
This is part of the last point
6. Low-balling the salary
by doing this you are onlyshowing that your company is not that good at all.
But I think that a lot of companies do it and its not that bad to give someone a little less salary when they arestarting and then on the second month if he is good pay him what you said.
7. The job title switch-a-roo
When you are promising a job you should try to keep that promisebecause if you don’t it’s a waste of time for the other person.
8. Rejecting and Still Leading on the Job Applicant
It happens the same as on the last point.
