Abortion
Definition
The medical abortion means any expulsion of the fetus, natural or induced, in the period of nonviable intrauterine life, that is, when he has no chance of surviving. If the expulsion of the fetus is viable but done in period before the end of pregnancy is called preterm labor, whether the fetus survives as if it dies.
Classes of abortion
Abortion may be spontaneous orprovoked. The spontaneous arises because intrauterine death, or because different reasons motivate the expulsion of the new being, where he died because of his lack of ability to live outside the womb. If abortion is caused is done killing the child in the womb or artificially forcing his removal to die abroad.
Types of abortion
Saline poisoning
Amniotic fluid is withdrawn inside the bag thatprotects the baby. A long needle is inserted through the mother's abdomen until the amniotic sac and injected in place a concentrated salt solution. The baby swallows this solution that will result in death 12 hours later by poisoning, dehydration, bleeding in the brain and other organs. This saline produces severe skin burns. A few hours later, the mother begins labor and gives birth to a dead ordying baby, often moving. This method is used after 16 weeks of pregnancy.
Suction
Is inserted into the uterus a hollow tube having a sharp edge. Strong suction (28 times stronger than a home vacuum cleaner) tears apart the baby's body that is being developed, and the placenta, after depositing it in a bucket. The abortionist then inserts a forceps to remove the skull, usually not out by the suctiontube. Sometimes the smallest parts of baby's body can be identified. Nearly 95% of abortions in developed countries are made this way.
For Dilation and Curettage
During the second and third trimester of pregnancy and the baby is too large to remove by suction and opt for this method. Use a knife with a sharp spoon on the end with which the baby is cut into pieces to facilitate its removal bythe cervix, then pulling it apart using forceps. This method is becoming the most common.
 For "D & X" at 32 weeks
This is the most frightening of all, it is also known as partial birth. This is usually done when the baby is very close to its source. The abortionist introduces tweezers and grab them one leg, then the other, followed by the body, down to the baby's shoulders and arms. Sopartially removed the baby's body, as if it were born, except leaving the head inside the uterus. As the head is too large to be removed intact, the abortionist, scissors buried at the base of the skull of the baby is alive, and opened to enlarge the hole. Then a catheter and brain extracts by suction. This procedure makes the baby dies and his head will collapse. Then the creature drawn and cuts theplacenta.
By cesarean section
This method is just like a C-section until the umbilical cord is cut, except that instead of caring for a child is extracted Let Die.
By Prostaglandins
This drug causes premature labor at any stage of pregnancy. It is used to perform abortion on half of pregnancy and in the latter stages of this. Its main complication is that sometimes the baby gets out alive. Itcan also cause severe harm to the mother.
Physical effects
Death
The leading causes of death in relation to abortion are hemorrhage, infection, embolism, anesthesia, and undiagnosed ectopic pregnancies [undiagnosed]. Legal abortion is the fifth leading cause of death of pregnant women in the U.S., although most abortion-related deaths are not officially registered as such.
Breast cancer
Therisk of breast cancer almost doubles after abortion increases even further with two or more abortions. It also creates the risk of ovarian cancer, liver and cervical (cervix).
Drilling uterus
Most of these injuries go undiagnosed and untreated unless laparoscopic visualization perform. The risk of uterine perforation is increased for women who have had children and for those receiving general...
