If you can't watch embedded flash videos on Facebook or
CNN, or some other sites, and its telling you that you need
thenewer version of Flash, then this is for you.
Because there is NO newer version of Flash that works
on PPC. Doh!

Apple and Adobe and many other companies have officially stopped
supporting thePPC architecture. However hundreds of 1000s
of G4 and G5 PPC computers out there still in very usable condition
are left without any support. So, when push comes to shove, we shove.

This is thelast know version of the Flash Player Plug-in available
for Mac PowerPC G4, and G5 (PPC) computers.

This works with Safari, I have not tested it with other browsers,
but it should work with anybrowser since they all use the same plug-in.

What I did to make it work is I changed a few things to make it
identify itself as a newer version of the Plug-in, so when you get
to a website thatrequires a newer version of the Flash Player it
will be fooled into thinking that you do. I also deleted the the 10.6
version of the plug-in that was in there, to make the whole thing smaller. : )Here is how to install it...
after you download the modified Flash player.

1. Create a new folder on your desktop, name it OLD FLASH (or anything else).

2. QUIT SAFARI, or what everbrowser you are using.

3. Open your internet plug ins folder, located in the root of you directory at
~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins, (not the user directory with your name)
You can double click on thealias folder I provided to open the correct folder.

4. Move the OLD plug-in called "Flash Player.plugin" out TO the folder you created
earlier, for safe keeping.

5. Move the NEW plug-in youdownloaded INTO the Internet Plug-Ins folder.
Note: You may need to restart the computer. But you may not have to. You many
also have to reset Safari, but test it before you reset.

6. Launch Safari...
