COMPETITIVE GAME
Teacher = sticks  a poster on the board ( 1” )
Students =  look at it
   In groups ( or pairs ) make a  list  of different things or sentences they saw
  Winner group is the one that has more correct things or sentences.
 
 
SPEAKING WITH PICTURES
Pair work
There are 2 or 3 flash cards on the desk ( face down ) .
Teacher asks 2 Ss (from different groups) to go tothe desk  and look at picture 1, go back to their seats and tell his/her classmate what he/she saw
The second student writes......, then tells the T” what the first st. said
Compare different descriptions .
 
 
NEVER SAY “ YES “  NEVER SAY  “ NO “
T” asks different questions
Ss” can”t answer “yes” or “no”     Ex=

  a) Divide the class in to teams
  b) Say  = “ I”m thinking of a classroom objec starts wih “r” .
  c) The firs personthat  raises his/her hand and guesses correctly           (ruler ) wins a point for his /her team.
  d) Coninue with other letters and classroom objects .
  The team that gets the most correct answers winss the game.
Variation= clothes students are wearing ....

GETTING TO KNOWTHE TEACHER
   Sudents ask the teacher YES/NO questions. They get 2 points if teacher says YES ,and 1 point if teacher says NO .

Crazy Story
Level: Any Level
       Ask students to write a word on a piece of paper and tell them not to show anyone. This word should be a verb (or whatever you'd like to rewiew).
       The teacherstarts telling a story, then stops and chooses a student.
       That student will continue the story and must use his/her word. This student then chooses the next student to continue the story.
       The last student must end the story.
       After the story is over, the students then try to guess what words each student has written on his/her paper. The student who guesses the most...
