Action Proposal
This action research proposal is aimed at identifying and pinpointing the cultural impact of American movies, commonly known as “Hollywood best-sellers” in modern society. Our main goal is to investigate how an individual’s physical appearance in modern Western society has become a key factor in both probability of achieving success and acceptance as a person. The researcher willtry to bring awareness to this topic by providing statements supported by answers from arbitrary movie attendants interviewed. When we speak about physical appearance, the main focus on the subject is the importance the person gives to his/her physical appearance how they personally feel about themselves.
Hollywood’s modern society lays its roots on the shrine of the western half of the worldcommonly known as the Americas and this is the area in which the evidence of said movie films is most influential. Evidently, this can be heard by the news were it is uncommon that people, particularly young adult men, have taken a path of corruption because they believe that what they see in movies can become their reality. Due to the popular appeal that Hollywood films have in society, it isestimated that most of the people we interview to obtain data will most likely pay more attention to the physical beauty of a person, rather than other aspects that compose an individual such as personality, because it is one of the principal themes in movie films that originate here.
People will be questioned on different topics on their views regarding what constitutes success in life such asdescribing a proper career, the ideal spouse along with a successful marriage.. It’s important to learn how society is forming itself with such a great influence because with this information it is possible to predict future changes in moral values, and ethical values as well. Results will be tabulated according to age, sex and marital status. The environment where the tally will take place willbe a mall and outside a movie theater.
Most of the people who will be interviewed will be in the age range of 13 to 20 since that is the most recurring age among the people who particularly visit the theater. The people who are mostly influenced by said films are teenagers because they feel that the there is a necessity of being popular amongst their peers in order to be accepted in a groupwhich in turn is also being promoted in American movie films as well. Due to social and maturity differences between males and females, the researcher can expect answers from each gender to vary greatly, but they can repeat since most males tend to pass through similar experiences as other males just like females pass through similar experiences in life as other females. For example, when using aspecific film that includes more action than romance as a base of personal interest for the people being interviewed, the researcher can expect to find greater interest in the film from the males. Likewise, if the movie contains a softer plot revolving around a love story, the females will be more interested than the males.

No matter how horrible a movie is, it will gain attention simply because it was made on Hollywood.” Although the cite suggests that due to its extreme popularity Hollywood has become a top contributor of modern life, it has also taking this as an advantage in order to promote any kind of activitythey desire by simply paying actors to play the part they want other people to follow. Hollywood films to us always contain mixed elements of good intentions but also a dark side that will lay dormant on the sub-consciousness of people.
Also according to the previous website, “Hollywood films glorify sex and violence, attacking the moral values of all societies and leading their young...
