Actividad Sobre El Principito

INTRODUCTION:

This reading microteaching class is prepared for students who are at third cycle of Primary Education and who are between eleven and twelve years old. Specifically in this classthere are twenty-four students, fourteen girls and ten boys, all of them speak English fluently. During this school year they have read the magnificent book title "The Little Prince" by Antoine DeSaint- Exupéry. With the task that I have prepared all together in small groups will work about the book using their imagination. In order to understand it better I believe that it is important to givethem some instructions about the topic of the activity but finally they have to decide how to do it in relation with this things that they want to explain and give more importance. Moreover, thanks tothe imaginative activity they are going to review some vocabulary that the have learnt while the students read the book. My intention is improve their English into a funny and entertaining way, using anoriginal and funny method.

AIMS:

The main aim is to develop and improve their reading comprehension and their imagination, while they create the activity, speaking, writing and thinking in thesecond language. At the same time they have to argue their opinion about how to do it and agree whole group.
With the activity explained after, I want to develop this skills and capabilities:
- Toreview and remember some chapters of the book.
- Distinguishing between the different characters and describe them.
- To create new planets for the characters.
- To be able to use and write themost important vocabulary of the book correctly.
- To be able to explain their work in English for all the class.

TECHNIQUES:

This microteaching is based in the deductive method. I will usethis techniques and methods to development the aims explained:

- Guided discovery.
- Using a pictures and murals.
- Using the reality, but most the imagination of the pupils.
