Ask students what ideas come to mind when thinking of the word LEAGUE (brainstorming of ideas). Possible answers may be: footballcompetitions in Italy, England, Spain and Argentina, a group of people with the same interests and ideas in common, a TV programme, etc)

Then, invite students to deduce what the commoncharacteristic of the League is (The members have all red hair) and what kind of league they think it is (a hairdresser’s, an actors’ agency, a club for social meetings, etc)
