Components of the PowerCAMPUS Admissions Setflow
Common PowerCAMPUS Toolbar Icons
SunGard Higher Education's PowerCAMPUS Admissions module allows your recruitment and admissions officers and
staff to gather, track and maintain information about inquiries and applicants. The following are the major components
of the PowerCAMPUS Admissionssetflow interface.

Function
Exit/Exit Setflow: Leave the
PowerCAMPUS system entirely or
close the open setflow.
Printer Setup:. Changes your printer
connection, printer setup, paper size,
orientation, and other printer
characteristics
Open: Changes from one record to
another.
Close Sheet: Closes the data entry
window and the sheet in one step.
New: Allows you to create a newrecord.
Insert: Allows you to add another
record.
Remove: Remove a row. This
function is only available up until the
point when the window is saved.
Once saved, the Delete function must
be used to remove a row.
Save: Save changes to current form.

Options Menu: Some Recordsdisplay with multiple tabs. You can access the tabs by scrolling to
the left on the record window, or you can select the Options menu from the Main Menu Bar to see all
of the tabs on the window.

Delete: Deletes either an entire
record or an individual row of a
record.
View: Changes either the Sort or
Filter for the rows on adatasheet.
Print: Sends a report to your printer.

Today’s Scheduled Actions
Reports
This is the window that opens when you select Reports from the Workflow
Menu in your Setflow or the Access Reports for this Sheet button. The dropdown list box at the left of the Reports window displays available reports.
Today’s Scheduled Actions is asingle, specific Action ID used to find and run all
letters/communications that are scheduled to be run today. The Actions that are
run via Today’s Scheduled Actions are manually scheduled via the Scheduled
Action tab of a record or automatically scheduled by the Action Rules that have
been activated for your database. To set up a Scheduled Action: Determine
WHAT to send – to WHO – then DOthe Action.

1. Click on the NEW button.
2. Click on the SORT button.
3. Give the sort a subtitle andsubdescription.
4. Select the desired Sort Criteria.

From the Main Menu Bar, select Action Definition from theTools drop-down list.
Find the TODAYS Action ID and double click on it.
Click the Mail Merge tab to verify that the correct mailing list, variation, form
letter and data file are specified. Modify them as necessary.
When ready to run Today’s Scheduled Actions, select Mail Merge Processing
from the Workflow drop-down list.
Highlight the TODAYS Action ID and click the Select icon.
Highlight andselect any additional Actions you wish to carry out in this session.
Click the Process button and review results in the Mail Merge Processing log.
If the Mail Merge has been successfully run, the communications are ready to be
printed and/or sent.
Close the Mail Merge Processing window.
