Youth freedom
This is not a minimum issue. The degree of freedom that teenagers have is one of the major problems faced by all families. Young people between 14 and 18 years old are seeking theirown personalities, and that is the reason why they start with strong freedom feelings. They want to try new things and they use freedom word as excuse against parents. Parents see the lies and conflictsmultiply. Freedom should be something teenagers get step by step, demonstrating their responsibility with facts, not words, over experimental freedom. In my opinion, freedom as the precious resourcethat is, should not be given as a present. If you give freedom, it will not be taken with consideration and therefore, mean nothing to the adolescent.
Nowadays the society has evolved, that meansthat teenagers are not living in the same time than their parents. As a result, a lot of aspects are different and they will continue changing throughout the years. Have you asked your parents abouttheir teenage hood? Parents are disagree when teenagers ask them for permission to return later to home, or parents will ask questions like who are they going with, how will they go, etc., and finally,parents would give them just a few time to spend with their friends. In that moment, a little voice in their minds starts asking “why?” isn’t it? The reason why parents do this is because in theirteenage years they played “Yo Yo” or they stayed at home doing “Sudokus” in a Saturday night. To understand their parent’s point of view, teenagers must know the life their parents lived. The job of theparents is hard, since they don’t know how night life is now and how their daughter or son will understand Freedom.
Sometimes teenagers cannot distinguish freedom from debauchery: they believe that asingle “yes” of their parents a Friday night is enough to start doing what freedom means in its totality. Liberty consists in the combination of autonomy and responsibility, it means being able to...
