Origins:

Aerosmith is one of the most popular hard rock bands of the seventies and then in the eighties, it has entered in the rock’s history combining blues, with the image of badboys of the Rolling Stones and creating pop metal.

Aerosmith was formed as a group of youth boys trying to imitate their favorite bands. His beginnings were in the 70's and then they were alreadyconsidered as one of the best groups in the United States; in half of the 80s the group seemed even extinct, until the end of the decade that they reborn, being the only group that has reached the summittwice. Apart from its music Aerosmith is considered a legend and with no member died.

Aerosmith was formed in Boston, Massachusetts, where the members lived: vocalist Steven Tyler, guitaristsJoseph Perry and Brad Whitford, bassist Tom Hamilton and drummer Joey Kramer, garnering fans through numerous tours throughout the United States.

In the summer of 1970, Tyler met Perry, by then Tylerhad worked in three bands. He impressed his friends Perry and Tom Hamilton, who played in a local bar with his band, so they invited him to hear them play, Steven was not very impressed with thequality of the music but he knew they could create something great.

Tyler started as vocalist and drummer at the same time but to devote only to sing they hired Ray Tabano and Joey Kramer (guitar), twofriends of Tyler. The group moved to Boston and eventually Tabano was replaced by Ernest Bradley Whitford.
They began their concerts singing songs of their idols until they found their own style. Therequirements for hiring them were not too many, for $ 300 and a box of milk balls, they did their show. In reality they were always a group that focused on concerts, never wanted to be a bar band.Once they started writing their own songs, they quitted their jobs and they finally obtained their first contract with Columbia signed in the summer of 1972.
