Imperialism in Africa
Did you know Africa was imperialized by many countries such as France, Spain, Germany, and others? During thisimperialism people had their hands cut off, some women were raped, and some became the soldier’s slaves during the night so they could have sexual relations with them. But during the day they had towork, and their husbands had to work even harder, if they didn’t have rubber by the end of the day they would cut off their hands.
The army in Africa was too violent and dangerous, even though we dohave the strongest army, we shouldn’t get involved in this problem we should focus on our country and be ready for when they do come to our country and they want to take over our country. In myopinion I think we should keep out of this problem and mind our own business and worry about our country and protect our country.
The third option which is to mind our own business would be a goodoption, because we don’t have to go to war and fight in Congo we can try to help without going to war. And this option is also good, because what if they declare they want to come to our country and try totake over our county. We have to be ready and fight for a good cause which is the protection of our people and our country.
In option one which is act now and alone it would bring consequences, wecould lose a lot of money, in weapons and, in labor. And then other countries would become jealous. And they could think are fighting so we can take Congo’s resources. This would cause a war betweenBritain and many other countries.
In option two which is go fight and involve other countries, which it’s a bad choice, because if we do win war they are going to want more. Then that could causeanother war against us and we could lose even more money. And that’s why I say we should focus on our country, keep them safe and find another way of helping Congo without getting involved.
