FSN FLOATING FLOOR
1) The structural slab under the floating floor must be level and swept clean. All mounting locations must have height tolerances, one to the other, as specified for the top surface of the finished floating floor. The top of the mountings are used as screed
If the sub floor has not been poured to this tolerance, mounting locations on the sub-floor can beground, grouted or shimmed by the general contractor to accomplish this purpose
La losa estructural debajo del piso flotante debe estar nivelada y limpia mediante una escoba. Todas las ubicaciones de los “mountings”, deben mantener las tolerancias de altura, unas de otras, tal como está especificado para la superficie alta del piso flotante ya terminado. 3) Cement perimeter board to all surrounding curbs.

4) Cover entire floor area with 1 layer of 6 mm plastic sheeting. Overlap joints aminimum of 6” tape all joints with waterproof tape. Carry sheeting 12” up past perimeter board and tape to top of.
Cubrir totalmente el área del piso con una hoja de plástico de aprox 6 mm. Traslape las juntas por un mínimo de 6” y pegue todas las juntas con una cinta a prueba de agua. 6) Install lower reinforcing steel that rests on the casting lugs in order to maintain mounting locations. Avoid cutting reinforcing bars as you continue the reinforcing system in accordance with this or the architectural drawings. Overlap any cut bars by.

7) Pour the concrete floor to the thickness shown being careful no to lift or move mountings, level flush with top of mounts. The floor area must be poured monolithically in asingle operation. The continuity and uniformity of the concrete during pouring shall be obtained by mechanical agitation.
Vaciar el piso de concreto hasta el espesor necesario, siendo cuidadoso de no levantar o mover los mountings, el nivel de vaciado debe ser la parte alta de los mountings. El total del piso debe ser vaciado monolíticamente en una sola operación. La continuidad yuniformidad del concreto durante el vaciado se debe obtener mediante agitación mecánica.
8) Allow concrete to harden and cure in accordance with approved practice.
Deje endurecer y curar el concreto de acuerdo a las prácticas aprobadas.
9) After concrete has cured and the floor is ready to be raised, remove rubber plugs from top of mounts.
