AKITA-INU

This is a breed of dog originating in Japan, is a hunting dog and was used as defense and attack dog It was also used to hunt bears. It is easy to train a dog and a verybalanced character. Affectionate and protective with family, suspicious of strangers, but will not attack on a whim. It's a little dog barking and majestic appearance
This dog is balancedand capable of performing the work of a large dog. It is slightly longer than tall, has broad and deep chest

The Akita was never bred to live or work in groups like many hound and sportingbreeds. Instead, they lived and worked alone or in pairs, a preference reflected today. Akitas tend to take a socially dominant role with other dogs, and thus caution must be used insituations when Akitas are likely to be around other dogs, especially unfamiliar ones. In particular, Akitas tend to be less tolerant of dogs of the same sex. For this reason, Akitas, unlesshighly socialized, are not generally well-suited for off-leash dog parks.
The Akita is docile, intelligent, courageous and fearless, careful and very affectionate with its family. Sometimesspontaneous, it needs a firm, confident, consistent pack leader, without which the dog will be very willful and may become very aggressive to other dogs and animals
