Albert Einstein was born on 14th March 1879 into a Jewish family in Ulm, Germany. He was a theoretical physicist and was awarded the 1921Nobel Prize in Physics. He is considered to be one of the greatest physicists of all time.
Albert attended a Catholic elementary school inMunich where he was a top student although he had speech dificulties. He started to learn maths at the age of twelve.
When Albert was fifteenthe Einstein family moved to Italy. Because of this Albert did not finish the high school. A year after the movement he tried to enter theuniversity in Zurich. However, he was recommended to finish the high school despite his physics was briliant.
Albert finished his high schoolin Switzerland and tried to enter the university in Zurich again. This time he was succesful and graduated in 1900 with a teaching diploma.During his studies he met his future wife Mileva. They got married in 1903 and they had two sons.
After his studies he started to work as anassistant examiner in the patent office in Bern. In 1905 he wrote four articles which were later recognized as the basis for modern physics.In November 1915 he had several lectures where he displayed his theory of relativity. Paradoxical he is better known for this theory than forhis discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect for which he was awarded by Nobel Prize.
He died on 18th April 1955 in Priceton, USA.
