What about your environment enabled you to be so creative?
When I was younger I was an advertisement designer in a cable company called Henley’s, they had this in-house magazine called the HenleyTelegraph which published my first short stories. They were the first ones who helped my creativity flow.
It is not only me who’s involve in the creative process, the writers and I just imagine thewhole story but I don’t write, I just tell them what I want and guide them telling them not to imagine the story with words but with pictures.
I think my ideas have always been influenced by mypersonality, the way I was raised with an attitude towards authority, fear, and guilt. I try to put those three feeling up to bring my ideas to life and make a really good story.
When it comes to the movieitself, I never follow the script because once we are already finished with the script I already know what I want and I follow my ideas. Playing with the cameras and watching the movie and ideas cometo life is what I live for.
Please describe how your mind works.
My mind functions with feeling of authority, fear, and guilt that were involve early in my life with my father’s way of treating hiskids. Once he sent me to the sheriff office with a note that asked him to lock me in jail for 10 minutes. When I was finally out he told me that’s how they treat boys who behave badly; I think myfather harshness and wrongly accusations, and also the rejection from the military, have help transform my ideas into writing and finally into real movies that entertain people.
What personalcharacteristics contribute to your creativity?
As I mention before my background. Growing up in an age where fear was the most seen trait everywhere because of wars and psychological abuse.
Growing up with myfather’s discipline methods and keeping my feelings to myself. It all helped me when it came to flowing ideas for my stories and the different twist at the end of each.
