Most of the people around the world have tried alcohol at least once, but some of them do not know even what it is. According to Oxford Dictionary, “alcohol is the clear liquidthat is found in drinks such as beer, wine, etc. and is used in medicines, cleaning products, etc.” Alcohol is commonly drunk in parties, meetings, bars and discotheques, being young people themainly consumers. Although young population are more likely to consume alcohol due to their age and their easy way of being persuaded, they are not the only ones who drink this substance, also there arepeople who become dependent of alcohol in an adult age. People often think that alcohol is always bad, but it is not true because consuming alcohol in small amounts helps the circulatory system, butthe frequent consumption in large amounts creates a dependency and makes people become alcoholic. The alcohol abuse has many negative effects in the person that consumes it.
One immediate andnegative effect of consuming alcohol is social problems. When a person starts consuming too much alcohol, it is common the concern of the family and friends. And when the person does not accept the problemand does not allow others to help him, he starts having problems with the people around him, because he often is drunk and disorientated.
