“America The Uneducated”

In the last years the education level in The United States has decrease. According to William C. Symonds in “America TheUneducated” the democratic trend increase is one of the principal causes. North America has become one of the countries with more race diversity with Hispanics and African Americans, who are the oneswith fewer chances of earn a degree according to the National Center of Public Policy and Higher Education. However, some plans to increase the education lever must be done soon, or North Americaeducational level will decrease even more.
One of the principal causes of the low level of education in North America is the rapid increase of diversity in the population. Hispanics and AfricanAmerican, who are the ones with less probabilities of earning a degree are becoming every day a majority. In “America The Uneducated” the statistics from the U.S workforce demonstrate than in ten years fromnow white workers will decrease from 82% to only 63% and Hispanics will increase to 37%. The question is why Americans drop school? We all know that with fewer years in school less monetary increase wewill have. In addition, without education less people will work and the incomes for the country will decrease by two percent in ten years. Not dropping school is one of the best ways to improve thefuture not only for them but also for the country.
Bush’s act from 2001 “No Child Left Behind Act” main purpose is to help children to be proficient in school, which is not an easy goal because evenwhen children are increasing their reading’s level, they will never have a one hundred percent proficiency. According to the president of the Center on Education Policy Jack Jennings, in a recent test“39% of white eight graders were proficient in reading, vs. just 15% of Hispanics and only 12% of blacks”. What if all the students where white, still schools would not have a one hundred percent...
