The life and philosophy of Plato
Plato is very important character from History and Philosophy because all of thegreat things he did made on Athens, this character is a role model for us, also he did have really good values, he was a straight men. Plato did come with a really good education, he did want to have aperfect society and he was considered one of the earliest philosophers. He was really focused on values because he was a straight person. I really like this about him because that way he came one of theearliest philosophers. Also Plato did defend a clear ontological dualism. In which there were two types of realities or worlds. Plato was born on Athens between the ages 428-427 B.C. He came from afamily that did teach a really good education to all the people who was living on Athens and other places too. Plato’s parents where really great parents because they always gave a lot of support tohim. I think that why he became one of the earliest philosophers. Plato was going to venture in politics because of their social position. But when the governments tried to practice the acts ofviolence and Socrates tried to engage in their crimes, Plato abandoned all this possibility.
Here are two types of realities or worlds, one is ¨the sensible world¨ and the other is ¨ the intelligible world¨and also there is a little information about the good values that Plato did had. The ideas are hierarchically ordered, there are different types and they do not have all the same value. Plato’sarguments in favor of the theory of the ideas that it defends theory of certain independent, universal which are different from the sensible world. Also Plato did argue powerfully on three important andreally good values, those values are Truth, good and beauty.
