RESUMEN

Esta investigación tiene como principales objetivos comprender la importancia
que tiene un buen diseño de sistema de drenaje en un muro decontención y
encontrar así un sistema de drenaje que cumpla con todas las expectativas.
Para esto se efectúa primero un estudio para comprender el funcionamiento
de estas estructuras y posteriormente se analizan diversos sistemas de drenajes
nuevos con geosintéticos, y otros tradicionales confeccionados con materiales
naturales. También se efectúa un análisis del funcionamiento e instalación enterreno
de un sistema de drenaje con geosintéticos, como es el caso del sistema Geodrén
utilizado en la obra “Construcción muros de contención Pobl. Antonio Samoré” de
Coyhaique.
Finalmente, se efectúa un análisis técnico-económico comparativo entre los
sistemas de drenaje con geosintéticos y materiales naturales, concluyendo los
aspectos más relevantes a tomar en cuenta para lograr un diseñoeficaz.

SUMMARY

This research is mainly designed to understand the importance of a welldesigned drainage system in a wall of containment and found a drainage system that
meets all expectations.
For this is first a study to understand the functioning of these structures and
then discusses various drainage systems with new geosynthetics, and other
traditionally made of natural materials. It alsoconducts an analysis of the functioning
and installation of ground in a drainage system with geosynthetics, such as Geodrén
system used in the play "Construction embankments Pobl. Antonio Samoré "of
Coyhaique.

Finally, it makes a comparative analysis between technical-economic storm
with geosynthetics and natural materials, concluding the most relevant aspects to
take into account to achieve aneffective design.
