By the end of WW1, Germany had suffered greatly. Due to the Versailles pact, it had lost much of its wealth, land and population. It had a weak, corrupt republic, and a communist revolution similar to the one in Russia was feared. Within the German Army, a young infantry man would become dictator. Adolf Hitler, a xenophobic megalomaniac, resented the OtherEuropean powers such as France and England, and also detested the fact that most businesses were run by immigrants and foreigners, mainly Jews. After two attempts, Hitler finally seized power 1933, thus beginning his evil scheme to rid Germany and Europe of Jews and Slavs, thus establishing Hitler’s New Order; a theorem he made which states that the Aryan race shall begin its reign of superiorityand perfection while the impure races shall parish. Hitler associated communist and Jews frequently, believing them to be the same threat, sustaining himself on the fact Marx was a Jew. He once said, according to the German free press, “Today I will once more be a prophet: If the international Jewish financiers in and outside Europe should succeed in plunging the nations once more into a world war,then the result will not be the Bolshevization of the earth, and thus the victory of Jewry, but the annihilation of the Jewish race in Europe!”. Hitler said this on one of his speeches, in January 1931. Hitler was a very good spokesman, and on almost all his speeches his public acclaimed him. As can be seen from the quote above, Hitler saw Bolsheviks and Jews as common enemies. As Hitler beganhis first years as Führer, Jewish businesses were closed or sometimes burned. On a particular night, the Night of the broken Glass, many SA agents (Hitler’s secret police) burned and robbed Jewish businesses and houses. The remaining Jewish population would be taken to concentration camps, where they would produce money and labor for the Germans, all the while a portion of prisoners dying fromsickness, bad nutrition or simply fatigue. Eventually new ideas such as death camps and gas chambers came into action and development, and death camps such as Auschwitz were deployed. This is the testimony of SS-Unterscharfuehrer (second-in-command) Franz Boeck, quoted by his book “Auschwitz as Seen by the SS”: “... The "disinfectors" were at work. One of them was my partner,SS-Unterscharführer Teuer, decorated with the Cross of War Merit. With a chisel and a hammer they opened a few innocuously looking tins which bore the inscription "Cyclon, to be used against vermin. Attention, poison! To be opened by trained personnel only!” The tins were filled to the brim with blue granules the size of peas. Immediately after opening the tins, their contents was thrown into the holeswhich were then quickly covered. Meanwhile Grabner gave a sign to the driver of a lorry, which had stopped close to the crematorium. The driver started the motor and its deafening noise was louder than the death cries of the hundreds of people inside, being gassed to death.”

Additionally, Hitler began two programs that were designed to stir the minds of young people. The Hitler Youth and GermanMaidens schools were set, and every child was sent. The German Maiden were teached about maternity and manual labor, as Hitler saw them as producers for his future armies. On the counterpart, the Hitler Youth, were boys had to go, were instructed on how to be good soldiers and disciplined, and above all, the superiority of the German people and the wickedness of Jews. On one occasion, during aninterview, Hitler said “Nature is cruel; therefore we are also entitled to be cruel.
