Description of Work
Replace an existing straight 100 ft.ard (l) x 2 ft. (w) x 4 inch (d) concrete sidewalk with a 200 ft. (l) x 3 ft. (w) x 6 inch (d) curvingconcrete sidewalk at a private residence as part of an overall landscaping project.
Work includes:
1. Demolish and remove 800 cubic feet of concrete sidewalk (100 feet long x 2 feet wide x 4 inchesthick).
2. Prepare subgrade for new sidewalk.
3. Construct forms for new 3600 cubic foot concrete sidewalk (200 feet long x 3 feet wide x 6 inches thick).
4. Pour and level concrete.5. Water cure concrete.
6. Remove forms.
Contractor will remove from the premises all debris, trash, excess materials, forms, stakes, empty sacks, etc. caused by the work. The site will beleft with a neat appearance.

Applicable Standards & Specifications
1. Concrete must be M15 grade or better.
2. Maximum .50 water to cement ratio.
3. 2 inches of crushed rockused as subgrade.
4. Contractor must adhere to all applicable city and county ordinances and building codes.
5. Forms should be either metal or wood, free of warp, and of a depth equal to thedepth of the concrete.
Acceptance Criteria
1. Forms must be constructed in accordance with landscape architect plans (included in procurement package).
2. Concrete must be completelywater cured before forms are removed.
3. Once leveled, the concrete should be free of honeycombs.
4. All exposed corners are to be edged or rounded to the radius shown on the plans.
