1. RESUMEN EJECUTIVO

El proyecto que acá presento consiste en el estudio del desempeño de los equipos de calentamiento de agua a través de energía solar, tambiénconocidos como colectores solares, en viviendas de un barrio de bajos recursos de la Capital Federal de Argentina.
El año pasado, en el año 2010, con el financiamiento de la embajada de Alemania y el apoyo de la Agencia de Protección Ambiental (APA), la Corporación Buenos Aires Sur instaló en el barrio Los Piletones, 5 calefones solares, uno por cada una de las en 5 viviendas designadas.
Elcriterio de elección de las viviendas fue una combinación entre los factores de necesidad de las familias, y que las casas preseleccionadas contaran con una e infraestructura adecuada para la instalación de los colectores.
Es justamente aquí donde entra el motivo de mi investigación ya que la instalación de agua de los hogares a través del nuevo sistema de energía sustentable, permite el ahorro de unaconsiderable cantidad de energía eléctrica que se consumía previamente a través de una red informal.
El objetivo de esta tesis es determinar el rendimiento de este tipo de equipos, los colectores solares.
Por otro lado se hará un estudio del colector solar per-se. Se analizarán los diferentes sistemas que lo componen y su funcionamiento colectivo.
Por último, la tesis investigará sobre distintasprácticas en el marco de las políticas públicas para el fomento de utilización de los colectores solares en la sociedad civil.
Mi objetivo de en este trabajo es analizar y comprender con mayor profundidad cuáles son las variables tecnológicas, sociales y políticas en el desarrollo de una economía habitacional más sustentable.

2.ABSTRACT

This project consists on the study of the performance of the warming water through solar energy equipment, also known as solar collectors, in dwellings of a neighborhood with low resources of the Federal Capital City of Argentina.
Last year, In the year 2010, with funding from the German Embassy and the support of the Environmental Protection Agency (APA), the Corporation Buenos AiresSur installed in the neighborhood Los Piletones, 5 solar collectors, one in each of the 5 selected houses designated.
The criterion for choosing election of the houses was a combination between the factors of the needs of the families, and having the adequate infrastructure for the installation of solar collectors in the same houses preselected houses.
It is precisely here where the reason of myresearch emerges, since the installation of water in households through the new sustainable energy system, allows the saving of a considerable amount of electricity that was previously consumed through an informal network.
The aim of this thesis is to determine the performance of this type of equipment, the solar collectors.
On the other hand, it will be a study of the solar collector per-se. Iwill analyze the different systems that compose it, and its collective functioning.
Finally, the thesis will investigate on the different practices in the framework of public policies for the promotion promoting of the use of solar collectors use in civil society.
My personal aim at this work is to analyze and understand in greater depth the technological, social, and political variables, and itseffects on the development of a more sustainable housing economy.
