Executive Summary
New Hope Corporation Limited is an independent Australian company, which is publicly listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX code: NHC). The company listed on the ASX in September 2003. In New Hope, there are more than 500 employees and 11,000 shareholders, in which Washington H. Soul Pattinson is itsmajor shareholder. As an independent energy company, New Hope opens mines at Acland on the Darling Downs, near Ipswich and Rosewood. The company focuses on niche marketing of its thermal coal and exports by 65 percent of coal production to Asia-Pacific markets such as Japan, Korea and Chile with the rest consumed by customers in South East Queensland (New Hope Corporation Website). The companyalso carries out several exploration tenements in central Queensland and the Darling Downs in southern Queensland. New Hope investments include a 100-percent stake in Queensland Bulk Handling, a common user coal export terminal at the Port of Brisbane, and significant land holdings around Ipswich and near its mining at Acland. Strong and dynamic relationships with partners are starch. Based inIpswich, New Hope pays more attention to the management in every stage in the carbon chain of production, from exploration and mining of the mineral, to delivery to the customer.
On 22 March 2011, according to its semi-annual presentation to analysts, New Hope Corporation provided that railway transport services were expected from Acland since 28 March 2011 resumed. New Hope is also glad to make theannouncement that the first train from Acland coal was delivered to the QBH export terminal on schedule, and services are now at capacity (New Hope Corporation Website).
Overall, the New Hope Corporation cemented excellent and successful business relationships with governments and local communities in both Queensland, Australia and South Kalimantan, Indonesia; and acquired projects and expandedits production according to its philosophy of generating strong returns to its shareholders with a high degree of corporate and social responsibility (New Hope Corporation Website).

Introduction
New Hope Corporation Limited works closely with Queensland Rail in finding the additional capacity in the short term through contractual level to level down the financial impact of the recent failure.In18 July 2008, New Hope Corporation Limited signed an agreement on its New Saraji Coal Project to BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) for sale for A $ 2.45 billion cash. New Hope has identified more than 690 million tons of coalition on the New Saraji (closed 534 million tons and indicated 156 million tonnes), which is near the town of Dysart in Central Queensland.

Chairman Robert Millner inthe New Hope pointed that New Hope would focus on a sale to expand its New Acland mine situated outside Toowoomba support, and development of New Hope's Queensland Bulk Handling port facility in Brisbane.
