a. What was Ranaissance?
Renaissance is a french word which means “rebirth”. We gave this name because it was the rebirth of the greek and roman culture. In this period arts took a veryimportant place as it did many centuries ago. Not only art but many subjects where touched such as mechanics and human anatomy. Many of its most important characters developed many inventions such asLeonardo Da Vinci who made the parachute. When it started people merely thought about it they were trying to keep themselves alive and the governors trying to keep power with all the militaryconflicts that were happening in Europe. Few people were able to enjoy the luxury of arts. It is a movement that started in northern Italy and slowly spread to other places in Europe.

b. Why is this unitlinked with human ingenuity?
Because these period of time talks about how the best creations of people and how we were able to use our knowledge to learn about the world after many centuries. Andpeople used their human ingenuity.
c. Can this unit be associated with another Areas of Interaction? If so. Which would that be?
Learn to learn because after many centuries of ignorance we learned againwhat we forgot during the classic periods of Greece and Rome and we developed new methods to do things.
d. Why did The Renaissance begin in Italy?
Because when the fall of western Rome occurred,some romans escaped with the greek and roman scrolls to Constantinople. And when Constantinople fell to the arabs they returned to Italy. There people learned about the ancient Greece and Rome. Anotherreason is that compared to other places in Europe it was a very peaceful place and with a lot of prosperity because the cities where not controlled by a king, the wealthy families controlled the city.People became rich because it was the connection between the Asian products and Europe so there was a lot of trade.
