Paper II: Analysis of “Macario” by Juan Rulfo

“Macario”, a perplex monologue written by Juan Rulfo, is indefinitely the most elaborate ofRulfo’s short stories in it’s unique style of narration. Macario, the protagonist, conveys the events and history of the story in first person by simulating the technique better known as “stream ofconsciousness”.
