In response to your business analysis request, thefirm conducted a site survey for business practices and information management analysis of Broadway’s Café. Included is the memo are a few steps that should be considered in order to improve businessproductivity, increasing customer base and their overall satisfaction. The most important part of the assessment is to get Broadway’s Café to be once again the pillar of the community, byimplementing a comprehensive Management information System that will be the catalyst to regain market share. Unfortunately, the daily operations, management and strategy of Broadway’s Café were never properlydocumented by your late grandfather. The use of any data gathering resources were limited or non-existent.
The first step requires changes at the operational and management level. It willrequire the implementation of business driven management information systems in order to improve day to day operations. The systems architecture will be comprised of data and information gatheringhardware assisted by managing software in order to control payroll, inventory and ordering. The integration of transaction processing systems will allow speeding up customer processing and welcome the useof electronic banking, increasing revenue. The management will be able to make decisions base on real time financial information, this will allow for projections base on demand and supply.Secondly, is our recommendation to implement E-business solutions in order to enhance and improve market presence, create public awareness and increase customer base.
