PEER OBSERVATION
Student-teacher: Cecilia Alvarez
Observer: Daiana Saurin
From the beginning of the class, I could observe that you built a very good bondwith your students. I really liked that because your students feel significant and confident in your class. They were all willing to participate without beingasked to do so.
When I observed your class, your students were doing a writing activity. You mediated the rubrics very clearly. Your students were silent and theypaid great attention, even the ones at the back, who are often reluctant to do it. Your students worked on what you asked them to and they were really quiet. Itwas surprising to me that when they had some doubts; they tried to work with their classmates in a very cooperative way.
Your class was really organized and yourstudents were engaged in the activities they had to do. I really liked the way you managed time and organized the activities. Furthermore, you were aware ofyour students’ pronunciation. You listened to them and highlighted their mistakes in a very good way. I think this is very important because you students do notfeel embarrassed to participate. What’s more, you monitored your class very well. You were aware of what was happening in the whole class and if you had any problemyou were able to solve it immediately.
Your students worked all the time, they understood everything you explained as you did it in a very clear way. They wererespectful and hard-working students. I think your classroom management was excellent and your class was really interesting and appealing to your students.
