Mesopotamian Architecture
The architecture of Mesopotamia is the ancient architecture of the region of the Tigris–Euphrates river system (also known as Mesopotamia), encompassing several distinctcultures and spanning a period from the 10th millennium BC, when the first permanent structures were built, to the 6th century BC. Among the Mesopotamian architectural accomplishments are thedevelopment of urban planning, the courtyard house, and ziggurats. No architectural profession existed in Mesopotamia; however, scribes drafted and managed construction for the government, nobility, or royalty.The Mesopotamians regarded 'the craft of building' as a divine gift taught to men by the gods as listed in me 28.
Egyptian architecture

Egyptian buildings stand out for their colossal size,being constructed almost entirely of stone. They used columns profusely. It’s a lintel-like architecture, with the predominance of straight lines above a curve.Two types of buildings stand out: templesand tombs.TemplesSpaces designated to the worship of a certain god. The priests watched after the statue. Its walls were decorated with embossing and paintings.Egyptian temples had various parts: *An avenue of sphinxes, fabulous images that had the body of a lion and the head of a human. * An interior patio, where they received the faithful * A room of columns, which the believers did not haveaccess to.
