Are Leaders Born Or Made?

Are leaders born or made?

I truly believe leaders are always made. Why? There are some reasons that explain my point of view about this topic. I think that one thing that leaders must havesince the moment they born is the innate intelligence. However, this is not a requirement to be a great and important leader, because we can develop and improve our knowledge and reach a higher levelof intelligence. One thing is sure: leader need to be smart enough.

We can learn about leadership and become great leaders, but this will happen only if we learn the office at the place of work,by watching other leaders and imitating their actions, decisions and behavior. To be a good leader we need to choose people who will be our role models and learn about them, besides it’s veryimportant to get the most quantity of information about how they control and handle difficult situations and problems in their companies, what are their motivations techniques and everything we can ask;I think that information is primordial in this case.

One of the important actions that someone must do if he or she wants to be the best leader is getting feedback from people of the place ofwork, such as the boss, subordinates and peers. From this, the future leader can change what is wrong about his actions or behavior and become a better person who is closer to be a great leader andthus get better results and learn from experience.

The last reason that explains my thoughts is that everyone can look for training programs that will develop specific skills and abilities thata leader needs, for example, the communication is very important in all organizations and is known that a person who has this skill is indicated to take an important position, such as manager of adepartment on the company.

Although, one thing is true: A leader needs to be charismatic and has emotional intelligence and those characteristics just can be getting from the moment we born.
