Henry Wotton
Henry Wotton, also called Harry by the character of Dorian Gray, is one of the principal characters inside the novel “The Picture of Dorian Gray ” written by Oscar Wilde. Henry Wotton is an interesting person that makes the readers to identify for his intelligence, for his wit, his complete culture inside his knowledge and his ability to have an oral communication with the personsaround him, is a person that has a huge and interesting vision of life, his life style is living in full of pleasure, he likes to enjoy it as his way, he has a huge ideology, the way that he see the life makes in him to create his own rules and teachings to employ in the life, he have a huge knowledge about the things related with the social, also his is a person who likes to discuss, he is capableof dialogue a complete day provided he likes the theme. Lord Henry is capable to said so much things of the life without fear, he believed that nothing can hurt him, the only fear of Lord Henry was the death, inside of his ideas that he said was “The man can be able to escape of all, except from the death ”.
In the book I can see that Lord Henry is an intellectual of the high society man with ahuge vision of the life and he has a huge interest and adoration in the pleasures and wishes, he is a good friend of the artist Basil, the person through he gets to meet a teenager named Dorian Gray, when he saw Dorian, he gets impacted because of his beauty and s innocence and since that moment he become infatuated with him at the same time of his friend Basil, but each one on they way, since themoment they met each other they do a good friendship and Henry becomes Dorian´s best friends, and with Basil they make a triangle of relationships, the three together , but as time passes Dorian looks more in coexistence with Lord Henry becoming the best friends who attended together to meetings, clubs and other things of the society and departures planned between them. That friendship becomes inan interesting relation, because Henry and Dorian were making talks in which Henry give him to know concepts about how is and how we have to behave in the life, as his way and way to see it and also at the same time Henry were giving him good advices depending the situation, Henry inside the talks with Dorian express his opinions and ideas about the interests of the pleasure and wish; Henry saidthat “the men should never lost the interest in their wishes and that they should never refrain to anything, the men always have to look for new adventures and exquisite pleasures ”,all his ideas he said it to Dorian in a direct and right way that makes Dorian to finish convincing himself that he believes in that even he had never think of them before. Time after Henry give a gift, a book toDorian, he reads it and then he feel identify with the books principal character, he send to make people bring him 9 copies of that book to his destiny and he get obsessed with that book during years and he also finish identifying the book as a manual of his own life, but the book takes him to the evil and the corruption making him to make horrible acts in which he make sins and he finish looking thatas a normal thing that don’t affect the persons that are with him, the personality and ideology of the young Dorian has been changing since the moment he met Lord Henry Wotton.

Henry since the first moment he saw Dorian he really wish to be in his shoes, he adorate Dorian´s life and what he possessed, he admirate him a lot, not only because his way to be, otherwise also because of the way ofmake impact the people around him and as time passed makes a more admirable person, Henry really likes to pass time with Dorian, he enjoy it, he feel that that was a very good friendship, a friendship in which they shared the same interests, he feel that they were two persons with one idea in common: The pleasure of the life.
