articulo aire
Agricultural production is heavily dependent on environmental conditions ,including air quality plays a major role . The literature has identified various air pollutant potential to cause adverse effects on commercial agricultural production , among which are SO2 , NO2 and O3. Inparticular, the O3 present in the lowest layer of the atmosphere has been identified as the most phytotoxic and harmful air pollution in the world . In this research work , the physical benefits of afarm management plan tropospheric ozone levels , using the approach of avoided damage is estimated . In addition, the estimated physical benefits are used to estimate the economic benefits associatedwith an environmental policy designed to reduce the basis of tropospheric ozone concentration in the Mapocho River basin . The results indicate that the agricultural benefits of controlling ozonelevels in the basin of the river Mapocho, reach a present value of about 173.7 million dollars, which corresponds to an equivalent annual flow of agricultural benefits 20.8 millions of dollars.Bibliografia

IMPORTANCIA
