RESUMEN
En el proceso de investigación se propuso crear un inventario estructural al edificio Semipesados ubicados en la sede principal de la Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander para revisar y comparar los parámetros de Diseño Sismo Resistente con los cuales fue construido con las recientes

actualizaciones al Reglamento Colombiano de Construcción SismoResistente NSR-10.
Para lograr el cometido se realizó la recopilación de la información en la biblioteca Eduardo Cote Lamus de la Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander, conjuntamente con labores de oficina, consistentes en la elaboración de tablas comparativas, planos estructurales y arquitectónicos del edificio Semipesados y demás documentos concernientes con la elaboración de proyectos.
Losresultados expuestos en el proceso de investigación arrojan claras deficiencias estructurales que reposan sobre las cargas dispuestas para la ejecución del proyecto que antecede la aparición de la Reglamento Colombiano de Construcción Sismo Resistente NSR-10, cuya primera
publicación se dio en el año 1998, los parámetros aquí establecidos no constituyen una camisa de fuerza para las obras civilesposteriores a este año, pero permite confrontar su condición estructural actual respecto de las edificaciones recientemente construidas con las actualizaciones al Reglamento Colombiano de Construcción Sismo Resistente NSR-10, así como observar los posibles riesgos estructurales que se puedan presentar ante la ocurrencia de un sismo, estableciendo de este modo que tan capaz es la estructura deresistir las fuerzas sísmicas o las posibles adecuaciones que le permitan mejorar su capacidad de resistencia.

ABSTRACT
In the research process was proposed to create a structural inventory heavyweight building located in the headquarters of the University Francisco de Paula Santander to review and compare Earthquake Resistant Design parameters with which it was built with the recent updates toBuilding Regulations Colombiano earthquake Resistant NSR-10.
To achieve the purpose of the gathering was held in the library information Eduardo Cote Lamus University Francisco de Paula Santander, together with office work, consisting of the development of comparative tables, structural and architectural drawings of the building and other documents pertaining heavyweight with project development.
Theresults reported in the research process shed light on structural weaknesses lie arranged loads for the project above the onset of Regulation Colombian Earthquake Resistant Construction NSR-10, whose first publication was in 1998, the parameters set forth herein are not a straitjacket for civil works after this year, but can confront their current structural condition on newly constructedbuildings with updates to Regulation Colombian Earthquake Resistant Construction NSR-10, and to observe the possible structural risks that may arise from the occurrence of an earthquake, thus establishing how capable is the structure to resist seismic forces or possible adjustments that will improve its resilience.

INTRODUCCION
El reglamento colombiano de construcción sismo resistente (NSR-10), presentan a los ingenieros de la construcción requisitos mínimos que, en alguna medida, garantizan que se cumpla el fin primordial de salvaguardar las vidas humanas ante la ocurrencia de un sismo fuerte.
