Dear Uncle,



I hope these lines fine you great. It has been almost a year since last time we saw each other and it is also time to theend of another year. Everybody in the family is doing fine. I am in the middle of my new school year which has resulted to be a little be of a challenge.
I can’t wait for Christmas to rest and do thefun things we usually do together to celebrate it. As soon as the school break starts I am planning help my father to get our house painted and decorated for Christmas celebration. It is hard workbut lot of fun since we get to give the house a brand new look. I am also helping to put up the nativity and the Christmas tree. I love putting those ornaments and lights all over the living room. Onthe 24th we will wake early to get everything ready our family Christmas dinner. My grandmother and my aunt are coming to spend part of the evening with us and we will do a gift exchange game. I can’twait to see what present I am getting.
The week after before new year eve I will go to visit my grandfather Rosendo at his coffee plantation in the country. My mother, my sister and Iare going to spend four days his house where we always have a good time visiting our cousins, eating typical food, going to the nearby town and of course swimming in the river by his house.
I willbe back in town for New Year celebration. As always, I will spend that evening in my grandmother Elda’s house where we will have dinner and will wait for the new year for the traditional happy newyear greetings.
Besides doing my best in my school year, I have a couple of resolutions for the new year. After all that eating and drinking, I am planning to start working out at least three times aweek at the park by my grandmother’s house. I have also decided to start an course of English so I will able to practice with you when you come to visit.
