TEMA SENSE OF TASTE
OBJECTIVE:
* To have students investigate and recognize the basic flavors.
* To practice multiplication and division to solve math problems
* To practice writingsimple present tense sentences
HOMEWORK CHARACTERISTICS:
* The students will investigate on the internet or books regarding the sense of taste to recognize the basic flavors.
* To practicesolving written multiplication and division problems.
DIRECTIONS:
1. On the internet find pictures or images that represent next flavors; sweet, bitter, sour, salty, and then in a word documentpaste the pictures and write a description in simple present tense for each one.
2. Write and solve next math operations.
1. Last month, Stephanie worked for 70 hours. She earned $20 per hour. How muchmoney did Stephanie earn last month?
2. A crayon factory makes 4 colors of crayons. They put 3 of each color crayon in each box. The factory produces enough crayons to fill 8 boxes per hour. How manycrayons does the factory produce in 5 hours?
3. A truck driver always drives 9 miles per hour. He drives for 2 hours each day. How many miles will he drive in 7 days?
4. Brandon bought 10 cookiejars that each cost the same amount. The total cost was $100. What was the price of each cookie jar?
5. It costs $834.90 to buy 10 gold rings. If the rings all cost the same amount, what is the priceof each ring?
