1. The Custom of Mexico (definition, mission, operationalactivites, national ports)

Mexico is a Spanish-speaking country about three times the size of Texas, consisting of 31 states and one federal district. The capital is Mexico City. Mexico has a rapidlydeveloping economy, ranked by the International Monetary Fund as the fourteenth largest in the world. The climate ranges from tropical to arid, and the terrain consists of coastal lowlands, central highplateaus, deserts and mountains of up to 18,000 feet.

Many cities throughout Mexico are popular tourist destinations for U.S. citizens. Travelers should note that location-specific informationcontained below is not confined solely to those cities, but can reflect conditions throughout Mexico. Although the majority of visitors to Mexico thoroughly enjoy their stay, a small number experiencedifficulties and serious inconveniences. 
Definition:
Aduana ("Customs") is the centralized federal Mexican government agency charged with the responsibility of controlling importations and exportationsto and from Mexico. It is under the general control of the Federal Mexican Government Ministry of Commerce and Industrial Development in its' Department of Customs.
The customs regulations in Mexicoare codified in several volumes of law and use the uniform customs identification system used in many countries of the world (also known as GATT, General Accord on Tariffs and Trade).
Customs ofMexico has the power to regulate the entry and exit of goods in a clearing, which is why it is necessary to understand its operation.
