CARQUIN
LOCATION AND EXTENT
Three kilometers to the Northwest and the progressive city ofHuacho (capital of the province of Huaura, Peru to 145 km.), the lively and picturesque Carquín Creek rises on the banks of a small Bay and immediately to the Hill geographically known as Punta Carquín. Carquín has an area of 3.04 km2; Therefore it is smallest among the twelve districts of the province of Huaura.
LIMITIS
1. The North Carquín is bordered by the Huaura River
2. Huacho and thePacific Ocean, South
3. on the East by Hualmay and
4. On the West by the Pacific Ocean.
The lands of Carquín, since its creation as a district on September 29, 1941, present three well-defined sectors:
1. The Caleta de Carquín, which is the people.
2. High Carquín, ranging from the Avenida Túpac Amaru up Three waters.
3. Carquín bass, waters three until the Huaura River
CLIMATECarquin has a climate typical of the coast: warm and dry in summer (December to April); temperate in the rest of the months; but in June, July and August he feels cold and fall some drizzle.
