Background Information

The main objective of Info Inc, which is a small sized consultancy firm located in Houston Texas, is to update individuals, tax professionals, and corporate executive of the latest statistics and information on accounting and tax. The immediate goal of Info Inc is to specialize as an information source to tax officials and as an adviser to individuals. This will bedone through an advertising space where tax professionals could target individuals who are seeking tax information. After, the short term objective is achieved and Info Inc will follow a stepwise procedure to achieve its long term goals. These steps will include expansion of the organization to provide accurate tax information to corporate executives, in the next step tax professionals andexecutives will be helped with management of their email, voice mail, faxing and other administrative functions.

Business Model

According to the Internet Business Models, InfoInc, will be classified as a content provider. The main process will be subdivided into two categories namely B2B (Business to Business), which will produce maximum profit and B2C (Business to Consumer) electroniccommerce transactions.


The revenue generated through B2B operations will include

• Registration fees paid by accounting professionals for highly accurate and specific information.


• The purchase of customer information (for those who wish to be solicited by InfoInc’s partners) will also be included in the B2B transactions.

• Advertising fees paid by tax and accountingprofessionals to advertise their businesses the InfoInc web site.


While B2C’s revenue will mostly be generated from, individuals who will only subscribe for Info Inc’s detailed database, and from tax professionals who will join for specific queries. Addition of these pupil to the organization will mean a higher customer base and Info Inc will be able to cash in on this through advertising.Info Inc will focus on smaller firms, who will require fast and precise information for smooth running of daily business, for revenue generation.Info Inc will be created with an aim to foster learner engagement and to allow the learner to make choices. This is will be our core selling point “Financial and Educational Service under one portal with the most competitive rates.” Info Inc willfacilitate learning rather than controlling or dictating learning environment we will play this to our advantage and at the same our site will provide private and public forms of feedback.


At the same time Info Inc will have terms with the providers as well and will provide opportunities for various types of writing, reflection, and other pedagogical activities. The value added services that we willprovide to our client will be
