Bad Audio quality
Step 1
Plug your magicJack into a different USB port and try again. If that does not
work, go to step 2
Step 2
Try using a different phone withyour magicJack. If that does not work, go to
step 3

A. Right click on My Computer, and select Properties
B. Click the Advanced Tab, and under Performance selectSettings

C. Click the Advanced Tab, under Processor Scheduling, check the round
buttoncalled Background Services.

D. Restartyour magicJack and try a couple of calls to see if the quality
improves. If this does not work, go to step 4
Step 4
A. Unplug your magicJack from your computer
B. Turnoff your modem and router (if you are using one) for 3 minutes. After
you have turned your modem and router and modem back on, make sure
that your Internet connection isworking.
C. Plug your magicJack back in and wait for it to start. Once it has started,
try to make a phone call and see if the quality has improved. If this does
notwork, go to step 5
Note: If you are using the optional USB cord, please try without it.

Make sure that you have a good Ethernet cable connected from either
your router/modem to your computer. Although some low priced Ethernet
cables can handle Internetconnections without any issues, they might affect
the quality of your phone calls.
