2. The microteaching group evaluation:
Group members: Anaís Hernández, Ricard Gómez, Salvador Rodríguez, Daniel Roure, Jan Vidal
Title of microteaching class: Fruits
- How do you feel theclass went overall?
Honestly, I found that the class was very good, but I was nervous and I vocalized the words correctly. Gradually, the group in general we are more comfortable andeverything went as we expected.
- Did you accomplish all of your objectives? If not, which ones did you not accomplish? Why not?
The objectives I think we abide, although some objectives were metbetter than others.
- Was it clear to your students what vocabulary, grammar structures and skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) you were teaching? If so, why? If not, why not?Yes, but as I've said in other answers, I should have been more relaxed and I speak normally for students to understand.
- What went especially well in your microteaching class? Why do youthink it went well?
I think the best activity was spelling fruits. The activity is to spell the name of the fruit. Students actively participated and they had fun.
- What would you stilllike to work on? Why? How might you continue working on this?
I think that to learn any type of language you have to motivate students with dynamic activities and games. They and you will youpass so good.
- What difficulties did the students have with your microteaching class? Why? What can you do to deal with this problem if you were doing this class again?
Personally I thinkthe main difficulty was to understand the game because it was new to them. As for the years whether it was easy because the vocabulary was simple and basic.
- Did you enjoy this activity? Whyor why not?
Yes, I enjoyed the activity. We made a Pasapalabra, a game show in Spain. It is an original way of teaching and the result was magnificent. Students participated and had fun.
