Banned books are been affecting the publishers and some of the authors through the generations. Also the books that have been banned affect some of the kids, this is why they are banned, because sometimes the fathers, the professors, or any person how read the banned books think that if a kid read those books here mentality can be affected by the stereotypes that thebook includes. This primary research report will focus in the importance and impact of the banned books, also in some of the books that had been banned by the years. A research of banned books was done as a first step to learn more about these books, getting reliable information from different authors. The world isalways moving and changing, and as it changes we need to adapt and know all the themes of the schools that can affect our child. Banned books are certain books that are prohibited for the kids and some people even do not know that they are a section of banned books.
What is a banned book?
A banned book is one that has been removed from the shelves of a library, bookstore, or classroom because ofits controversial content. In some cases, banned books of the past have been burned or refused publication. Possession of banned books has at times been regarded as an act of treason or heresy, which was punishable by death, torture, prison time, or other acts of retribution. A book may be banned on political, religious, sexual, or social grounds. They take the acts of banning a book as a seriousmatter, because these are forms of censorship--striking at the very core of our freedom to read. Some of the banned books are not banned in the entire world or country it can be only banned in certain place sometimes, depending on the theme of banned and the opinions of the region.
As I mentioned above I conduct some surveys to the persons of different social groups and what I find is that theyexist a lot of illiteracy about these theme. They are persons that don’t know that they are a section of banned books, even they ignore that some of the books for the kids can have a subliminal message that is the reason to ban a book. Also they ignore that exist hundredths of authors that has banned books even those most famous authors.
But what does the kids or persons that like some of the bannedbooks think?
As we can see in this picture they are some kids that are against the banned of books, because they liked those books, they are some teenagers that can read a banned book and they will not take the bad side of the book to their proper life, they exist different cases of banned books but I think that we can read a ban book depending on the content of the book and the age of the kid. These are some banned books:
the Adventures of Super Diaper Baby is an American children's novel by Dav Pilkey, it has been baned by : Insensitivity, encouraged disrespect towards adults and age inappropriate. In my opinion I think that this book not to fear to be banned because we can have a manner to controled the head of the kids to do not act like this baby, but they are some kids thatwill do not respect what the proffesor or parents said and they want to act like this book ignoring that they are doing bad.
Where's Waldo?, is a series of children's books created by British illustratorMartin Handford. Banned because they content Certain inappropiate and seditious hidden imagery including topless sunbathers, gaylovers and a medley of other hysterical claims.for this book Ithink that is not fear to be banned or not in the age of the litlle kids because as I when we are in the age of 6-8 we only focus to find waldo not in the other pictures, when I was little I read waldo but I never found what the banned reason said, I remember that I only focus to find Waldo in all the pages.
