You should really visit the exhibitions at Barcelona's magnificent museums, especially when you are interested in the theme of the collection. We highlight some of the best-known in the city.

Museu Picasso
The place for learn about Pablo Ruiz Picasso’s formative years.
The Picasso museum opened in 1963 and has a collection of over 3,800 items. You can enjoy thisuniversally admired painter’s work right in the heart of Barcelona’s Gothic quarter thanks to this magnificent collection.

Temporary exhibition: 4. 40 €
*From the 7th to 21st January, and from the 28th January to the 8th February, maintenance work will be carried out in the permanent collection of the Museu. Due to this fact, the General Admission fee to the museum, during these days, will be 6,60€.

SagradaFamilia
Work started on this church in 1882, and when Gaudi took over the project in 1883, he transformed it into the incredible cathedral that we see today. Work continues to these days to finish this magical building.

April to September, 9.00 to 20.00 h
* 25 and 26 December – 1 and 6 January, 9.00 to 14.00 h
No tickets will be soldafter 15 minutes before closing time.

From 9.00 h to 30 minutes before the church closes (Passion lift)

Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA)
Set in a modern building designed by Richard Meier, this profusion of contemporary art brings life and culture to the whole Raval neighborhood. Its magnificent art collection; the impressive white building, in marked contrast to its surroundings; the landscape and human aspect, impregnated with Raval’s multicultural spirit.Opening times
