Was a composer, conductor and pianist Germany. His musical legacy includes, chronologically, from the classical period until the beginning of musical Romanticism. It is one of the most importantcomposers in the history of music and his legacy has had a decisive influence on later music. Considered the last great representative of classicism vienés Beethoven managed to transcend the music ofRomanticism, influencing diversity of musical works of the nineteenth century. His art was expressed in many genres and even the symphonies were the main source of international popularity, its impact wasfound to be significant mainly works for piano and music production includes gender camara. Su piano (thirty-two sonatas for piano) , chamber (sixteen string quartets, seven trios, ten sonatas forviolin and piano), vocal (lieder and opera, Fidelio), concertante (five concertos for piano and orchestra, one for violin and orchestra) and orchestral (nine symphonies , overtures, etc..), among whichis the cycle of nine symphonies, including the Third Symphony, also known as Eroica.
Soon, Beethoven no longer needed the concerts and recitals in the halls of the court to survive. The publisherswere fighting their works, plus the Austrian aristocracy, perhaps embarrassed by the death of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in poverty, given a yearly pension. Due to the loss of their hearing abilities, gavea feverish creative activity, and the couple suffered personal hardships caused by two romantic disappointments.
