Are you prepared to be an adult?
Most teenagers don’t know the responsibility that carries being an adult. Apart of having a job andliving alone, being an adult means a lot of things.
Teenagers spend hours in front of the computer, as well as being on the phonetalking with a friend about gossips. They can talk for more than two hours on the phone without taking care of the phone bill their parentswill have to pay.
When we are teenagers we are waiting for the sound of the telephone and we are very happy to answer the call, despite it was a “wrong call”. Some teens get very upset if nobody calls them in all the day. They constantly need to talk with someone orsomething. It is very common that when a teen don’t receive a call, they start talking with an object: chiefly teddy bears, mirrors.
Wereally don’t know that when we are getting more older we need to be aware of some tasks that will not depend any more in our parents andnow we will have to fulfil them by ourselves, such as the bills, going to the market, buying new clothes.
Making reference to thephrase, in our last stage of being a teenager we will be happy to know that somebody is calling to us to tell us the latest gossip. However, when we are adults, the sound of the phone won’t be a friend; it will be the bank remembering us to pay the bill.
