Tony hawk (skater)
Anthony Frank Hawk (born May 12, 1968 in San Diego, California), better known as Tony Hawk, American skateboarder is. It is considered the best skater in the world on ramp (halfpipe) and one of the most versatile and skilled, is also considered one of the best in the vertical skateboarding (downhill skateboarding), due to its ability and frequent practice.
Hawkskateboarding entered the world thanks to his brother and his friend Dani Kim Hawk Oky. Hawk described himself in his biography as "a nightmare". He was hyperactive and very demanding with himself. His parents,worried, even asked the help of a school psychologist, who told them their son had the mind of an adult trapped in a body of a boy of eight years. At age 9, his brother gave him a skateboard thatwould change her life.
Tony was going to practice every day with his father at skate parks nearby. Later, they founded the California Amateur Skateboard League and the National Association. Tony'squalities were innate to skateboard and at age 12 already had sponsors who financed his career. With 14 professional era 16 years and Tony Hawk was the best skateboarder in the world being in the BonesBrigade team.
In April 1990 he married Cindy Dunbar, his first wife, and two years later, his first born son, Andy, when he was 24 years. That same year, Tony founded the company Birdhouse with aformer team member Powell Peralta Per Welinder. Two years later divorces Birdhouse Cindy and shows no sign of having achieved a good start in the market. Hawk's family moved to Phoenix in 1996 where hemarried Erin Lee. There Birdhouse begin to break into the world of skate companies, thanks in part to agreements with companies like Adio.
In 1998, he founded Hawk Clothing, but in 2001, thiscompany skate shoes and clothing to be sold to Quiksilver, Australian multinational in which Hawk is the undisputed king of the surf along the U.S. also Kelly Slater. He was also one of the first skaters...
