Bicentenario

The bicentennial is a very important celebration which was in May 25, 2010. This is important for our country because two hundred years before was the denominated MayRevolution. This revolution was carried by a person whose surname was Cisneros; he also then leaded with many other persons the “Primera Junta”. Also there are many heroes of the bicentennial, such as SanMartin, Belgrano, Perón, and many others.
The people whom I would name are those who left their footprint on Argentina. The first one is José de San Martín, then, Manuel Belgrano, Juan Domingo Perón,Domingo Sarmiento, Carlos Saúl Menem, Raúl Alfonsín, Bernardino Rivadavia, Hipólito Yrigoyen, Juan Manuel de Rosas and finally Martin Güemes. Without this people, bicentennial wouldn’t be soimportant and celebrated. Talking about heroes is very important, because some people think that Ernesto “Che” Guevara was a hero in this bicentennial, and he wasn’t. Also I can find something very important of this bicentennial, many provinces had their own celebration, like Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Entre Rios, San Luis, San Juan, Santa Fe, Tucumán. InBuenos Aires the 9 de Julio Avenue was closed to the traffic between Corrientes and Belgrano avenues during the festivity days, and was used to host the main celebrations. Celebrations started on May...
