CONCEPTO DE BIENES
La palabra bienes se deriva del latín bearse, que significa causar felicidad. Los bienes son todas aquellas cosas y derechos que puede ser objeto de comercio y prestar alguna utilidad al hombre, y más comúnmente, lo que constituye la hacienda o caudal de una persona determinada.
Desde un puntode vista jurídico, la ley entiende por bien todo aquello que pueda ser objeto de apropiación. Este significado es distinto del económico, pues en este sentido, bien es todo aquello que pueda ser útil al hombre. Por tanto, aquellos bienes que no puedan se objeto de apropiación, aun cuando sean útiles para el hombre, no lo serán desde el punto de vista jurídico.
