Biocombustibles en la aviación
Compañías precursoras y principales inversores
Desde el 2008, se han realizado diversos vuelos de prueba con aviones propulsados por biocombustibles. Pero no es hasta julio de 2011 que se aprueba el uso de mezclas de biocombustibles con queroseno tradicional para vuelos comerciales. El organismo que lo aprueba es el ASTM (American Section of the InternationalAssociation for Testing Materials), que es un organismo de normalización de los EEUU.
