Cartel de Santa is a hip hop group formed in Spanish by MC Babo, Dharius, Rowan Rabia and DJ Augustine, originating in the neighborhood of Aurora, Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

As a matter of Babo MC, vocalist, Cartel de Santa is born when an improvised manner, its members went to play with another group Nuevo Leon, during a drunken 1996.
His first job was Cartelde Santa Vol I, produced by Jason Roberts and under the label of BMG, who managed to put in the Mexican music market with their first three singles, "Dogs", "All die for me" and " The pelotona ".After the release of "The Cartel" is founded the Royal Academy of Rima and the Pack of Dogs, the latter official fan club of the group. It is at this time Dharius joins the group, first as a support inthe submissions and then as part of the group.
To address the production of their second album the group founded "Casa Babylon Records" that from that moment thanks to an agreement with BMGbecomes the official record Cartel de Santa.
Cartel de Santa Vol II, was the second album by the group, this included the singles "Blah, Blah, Blah", "The Call" and "The Art of Deception." On this albumbenefited from collaborations with Tego Calderon on "Puerto Rico Connection" and Mr. Pomel in "Chronicle Babylon." Also during the promotion of their second album, Cartel de Santa recorded severalsongs with other artists signed with Casa Babylon, among them stand out "Mixtapes" made by way of promotion of the bulk of the label artists.
His third album was Vol PROHIIIBIDO and its first single"Cheka Wey" With the collaboration of The Pekador in the song "Old School Connection," and Mr. Pomel in several of his songs.
On March 30, 2007, generated a discussion group with the driver JuanMiguel Chavez Pimentel, which brought the old hatreds, and accidentally shot and the ball bounced to "Ulysses".
